A manual boost controller is a simple mechanical allow prssure from wastegate go out or go back into intake system
most manual boost controller will not be adjust from inside the car. must be used with other electronic systems i dont see the needs for a manual boost controller. once u got electronic boost controller
Electronic boost control adds an air control solenoid o a stepper motor controlled by an electronic control unit.
advantage of electronic boost control
one main point: less turbocharger lag
why ? 1.builds faster boost when the throttle is depressed quickly.
2. allows to build boost at lower engine RPM

but for stock car. use of boost control should be carefully done.
i dont like to see use of higher boost reducing life and reliability of STOCK engine.

很厲害過1000hp 2.0Bar+ 的 GTR SUPRA 會用 boost tap.. 但他們的boost tap 也過nz$400 因爲可以很微調
原因是electronic boost controller 已經無法 handle 2 bar 以上
若你不滿現在的 evc 我只能說 你的setting 未好... 若你已經做了該做的, try colder plugs Iridum 8 deg
