我已经发了EMAIL给老板说我要考PCE1的事情,告知了他们要填的表和费用,希望他们可以支持。公司不大,不是ATO。

今天老板发回了:
HiXXX,
What would be the benefits for XXXX (company) if we were to sponsor you? 我该怎么回答好呢?似乎好像只有我一个要考,我也还没有想到考了会对公司带来有什么好处,因为公司不需要CA。支招支招啊。。。。。。

Dear XXX,

There are so many advantages for our company if we had a CA.

1st, NZ CA is world recognised, this means our accounting practice would be at an international level.

2nd, People network, all the big accounting firms are supporting CA, this means if I am doing CA, I would make contacts in PwC or Deloitte. Of course Boss, you may ask what's the benefit for us? For instance, the  GST increase or any tax changes, I could easily talk to the insider for the best practice for us, in this case, we could potential save far more than we are investing now.

There are far more benefits than I have listed here (because I know your time is measured as gold), therefore, I would 120% support on this, and I wish I could have your support as well.

Regards,

XXXX

还可以趁热打铁,让公司申请成为 ATO,
As an ATO, your organisation will enjoy:
    * The ability to attract high-quality graduates with the required academic knowledge who are motivated to fully develop their knowledge, skills and abilities
    * Being an 'employer of choice' for future Chartered Accountants or Associate Chartered Accountants
    * The loyalty of existing staff who aim to become Chartered Accountants or Associate Chartered Accountants

其他的benefits
How will membership of the Institute benefit me?

Becoming a member of a professional body sends a strong signal about your commitment to your work. Becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants signals to employers that you:

    * have the right educational background and experience
    * have already demonstrated competence in performing the required roles and tasks in the workplace
    * have had your competence verified at many stages throughout your qualifying path for admission to membership
    * are committed to continuing professional development, maintaining the knowledge and skills needed to perform your role
    * are committed to the high technical, ethical and behavioural standards of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

What are the benefits of membership?

As well as assuring potential employers about your level of commitment, skill and experience, membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants offers you:

    * a full range of services to support you in your professional capacity
    * a credible quality assurance process recognised by employers and clients that enhances your reputation as a professional
    * an internationally recognised qualification
    * discounts on specific products and services
    * the opportunity to contribute – actively or through your support of the Institute – in a wide range of advocacy and standards development activities, both in New Zealand and internationally.

A full range of services
Institute membership gives you access to a community of diverse business professionals, with opportunities for mentoring and support, business advice, fellowship and social interaction. You will be entitled to enjoy a range of services and other benefits that come with belonging to a professional body including:

    * A comprehensive programme of continuing professional development activities
    * Networking prospects through an extensive branch network of members
    * Access to on-line services, including electronic library and search facilities

Quality assurance
Members of the accountancy profession have an important role in society as 'trusted expert business professionals'. This imposes a duty to:

    * work to the highest standards of professionalism
    * attain the highest levels of performance
    * act in the public interest.

The Code of Ethics sets our members apart from others who provide services to the public as it imposes a set of principles we work by. We train provisional members in these principles, we provide support for members in applying the standards, we monitor the maintenance of high standards of competence and behaviour, and we apply a structured process for investigating and resolving any complaints. This gives clients and employees a strong reason to select our members in preference to other people who are not members of a professional body.

International recognition

The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants enjoys international respect. Our members are internationally recognised as holding a world class business designation and enjoy reciprocal membership rights with the leading professional accounting bodies.

New Zealanders love to travel and live overseas. As a small country, we are heavily dependent on international business. The international recognition our members enjoy makes working in the global economy easier.

Our membership of the Global Accounting Alliance (GAA), an alliance of nine best-in-country professional bodies in the world’s major capital markets, has extended members access to services and support. The GAA Passport for Member Services programme means that members of the New Zealand Institute can enjoy services and products provided by their host institute at member rates whenever they live in countries with GAA institutes.

Discounts on products and services
We have entered into agreements with a selected number of product and service providers to offer our members discounted prices and other special offers.

Advocacy and standards development
Opportunities to influence decisions arise at various stages as the Government and international standards-setting bodies formulate policy. Through providing credible and high quality submissions, and drawing on the knowledge and experience of the Institute's members, the Institute has been able to make a contribution to policy development and standards setting in New Zealand, across the Tasman and internationally.

The public interest, rather than our members' interest, forms the basis of all of the Institute's advice. This approach is necessary if the Institute is to maintain its credibility.
