[size=150%]Jtune Drivers Training Day

Aim: Topromote driving safety on and off the track so the potential of thevehicle and driver can be maximized in a controlled environment.
Wealso encourage ladies who would like to know more about the handling oftheir cars in different situations and environment to sign up.
Location: Pukekohe Park 222-250 Manukau Road, Pukekohe
Date: Thursday 25th March 2010
Time: 8.45am - 4.30pm
Cost: $130 to be paid by 5th March 2010.
Late entries (after the 5th March 2010): $200

Track Day Programme overview
08.30 Gates open
09.00 Driver Briefing
09.15 Cruise Tour - everyone will go around the track for 3 laps
09:30 Divide into 3 groups for training
12:30 Debrief (Q&A Session) and lunch
13:00 Track time (depending on numbers, we will divide the groups into 2).
16.30 Track & pits must be clean and everyone off the venue
17:00 Cruise to town for dinner (Dinner not included in cost)

Drivers Training Details
The following will be covered:
• Braking
• Steering
• Smoothest/fastest line
• Cornering
• General track day preparation, such as fluid level, tyre pressure, brakes
• Track day experience at a comfortable pace
Vehicle requirements
Basic requirements for the vehicles on track:
- Warrant of Fitness
-Secured Battery- Checks in engine bay for water leaks or oil leaks - Noloose items on the exterior or interior (e.g. bonnet, Spoiler, canardsor diffuser)
- General observation and checks

Safety gear and Clothing
Helmet: Open face or full face, no bicycle helmets
Overalls: Race suit or cotton (mechanic style) overalls. (Jtune Automotive may have limited amount available for sale)
FireExtinguisher: Not a must have but would be ideal to have one fitted. (Jtune Automotive has some available for sale and fitting.)
**Super Cheap Auto also sells them at around $40; please ensure it has a metal bracket.
** If you already have one fitted make sure that it is showing green on the indicator which means it’s in good working order.

Basic Rules
1.    No Drifting
2.    Speed Limit 40km/hr in pit lane.
3.    No Alcohol or drugs at all time
