Hi Guys

I think we have some professionals in digital photo processing/developing in this group...

I have been told it is possible to resurrect the photos in your memory stick if it has been deleted, is this true?

If this is the case.. I really need to know.. cos I want to resurrect my photos in Tian Shan.

Those are the most stunning photos to date.

my memory sticks are SanDisc Extreme 3, real mccoy, not fake ones, hope the originality of the memory stick helps....

Did you keep using this memory stick to take photos after that? if yes, sorry no more chance.
The photos can only be recovered when nothing over-write them

有时候我在相机上delete了但是回到家一接到电脑上被删除的照片还在...

如果删完你没有再用过那张卡的话，100%可以恢复。如果删完你还用那张卡拍照，而且拍满了，就一张也恢复不了。
不过要是没排满，能回复多少就好看运气了。

基本原理是当删除的时候，相机只是mark一下这个卡的这个位置上没有文件了，要回复的话就用算法detect哪里是可能被mark过的然后unmark一下。如果你删了一些照片（相应位置被mark了），又继续拍照，新的照片就有可能占用被删的位置，这样就没有可能恢复了。

补充一句要是你的相机系统像linux一样就算你没再用过也完全没有可能回复了。。。他delete的时候还自动rewrite....

totally agree. Buy a new SD and bring your old one back and we can give it a go to try to help you recover them (tonnes of undelete software available on the net).

thanks guys! I havnt been taking a lot of photos with my SD, the 8G stick can take 1600 photos, normally I take 10-30 photos a day and then I move it to my computer, since the incident I have been using another SD, but sometimes I swap them, so I cant remember which is which now, but I have stopped using and will give it a try when I come back

I have 3 sd with me.
