我家门口有一只猫已经在这里徘徊一周了好像是邻居搬走把它给丢掉了我现在每天喂它给它做了个窝让它在外面睡可是这个也不是长久之计我是实在不能再养了家里已经有一只了而且住的不是自己的房子
猫个头很大黄色长的还是很漂亮的

I volunteer at SPCA, we don't euthanize cats unless they are agressive towards humans, and will check for any microchip and publish info to look for their owner, if not, we'll get best potential owner, can u send u info and contact detail to me to sneeze19@hotmail.com. I have a carry cage to take him away asap.

楼主住哪里啊？我这边也有只猫，主人不太理它，经常让她在屋外游荡，不按时喂它，它的脚受伤了，也不理。我每天在喂养它，还和它睡，我带猫咪去看医生，医生给猫猫打了消炎针，说两个星期不好，就要切除脚趾头，要五百多，还有要做阉割手术要一百多。我也不知道怎么处理它，因为我不会长期留在新西兰，我怕送它到SPCA,即使不人道毁灭，也会把它整天困在小笼。它很听话，很可爱，大约六个月大的小猫咪，医生说它是现在少见的纯种姜色猫了。有爱心想领养猫咪的请联系我。

恩猫还是很爱干净的我准备给SPCA 打电话了如果它在继续呆在我家门口的话毕竟不是长久之计还是给它找个主任的好

If you hand it in to SPCA we will sue the owner for neglect and he has to pay for the medical care plus fine. SPCA will check the health of the cat and make sure he's healthy and recover from all.

Or if he can't afford it he'll have to give the animal up but will still face neglect charges if we have a case established.

We really really hardly euthanize cats unless
1, they are very sick, 2, they are very old(older than 13), 3, they have rare contagious disease.

Every week we adopt out 20-40 animals, kittens are most popular, adult cats are less popular.

Yes we do kept some in cages, it's called Special Care Unit, because when they first arrived, they tend to be timid and scared of everything, after 2 days most of them come around alright, , and also small kittens, they need to be checked for disease, we minimize the risk of other cats and humans by preventing contiguous disease spreading.

For other adult cats, we put them in 2 large enclosure called the Blue room and the Red room, where they are socialize with each other and be inspected by the public. They are fed twice a day with wet jelly food and dry biscuits. Groomed and brushed and loved daily, I brushed a 13 years old cat on Sat, called George, he loves it but decided he was too excited and bite me hard ;-(

We also have Foster care system which is like Homestay, to put cats for 3 weeks to 3 months, to test their personality, see if they like children, dogs, and if they can get along with other cats.

You really shouldn't think SPCA a cruel place, it's pets heaven, they have staff who praise them, look after their health, they have volunteer and foster family for entertainment.

Yes we treat all cats for their treatable illness, but if the more delay there is, the more likely the illness will worsen, then it might not be a matter of operation or even amputate, if it's none treatable, it is better to put them down than letting them suffer in illness in slow motion.

But I have seen amputated animals in Newtown SPCA, they are very very popular, people tend to sympathize more with these animals, they were the quickest to adopted out beside kittens.

But I can't guarantee if the animal is still savable without a professional check up. I recommend you to send it to SPCA immediately without further delay!!!

And yes, if this is not your cat and SPCA take ownership of this cat, SPCA will treat it and de-sex it.

If you contact me or SPCA asap I and they can come down to wherever you are and pick up the cat, I have to work until 5.30 but SPCA is available all day all the time, I worry about the cat's health if the toe is not treated, it might rot his leg. .
