Can anyone kindly give me some idea about this question:

What are the most significant events that have occurred in NZ and overseas in the past 12 months and what impact will these events have on New Zealand business and economy?

I've got some idea, but just want some more, pls help.

In nz , the free trade with China is good topic to talk.
World , subprime morgage crisis is a good one.

You might want to mention the Fonterra's loss in China (SanLu).Talking about how you think NZ business should operate in China in a local people's perspective.The benefits is obvious ,china got more and more buying power however , the law system and other cultures,political issues will impact how business operate in China.
