大家好, 想請教大家一個關於申請 student allowance 的問題.....

我是在 06 年 5 月批的 PR, 但我是以副的身份申請的, 所以拿到 PR 時只有 Visa 的貼紙, 我在 07 年 7 月份回去台灣, 同年 9 月回來, 9 月入境 ( NZ) 的時候就蓋了 Residence permit 的印......

這個 semester 我報讀 graduate dip, student allowance 一直批不下來.....Study link 的 officer 說我夠資格申請的, 她說我有兩個 options: option 1: 直接用07 年 9 月的 permit 印章申請, 就是說要等到今年9月才可以開始領 student allowance. option 2: 去 immigration 申請一張 form 證明我已經拿了兩年的 PR. 我聽完後就直接去 immigration 要求了, 等了二十天, 今天終於收到 immigration 的信了, 大失望, 信上寫說根據 record 顥示, 我在 07 年 9 月拿的 residence permit (就是我當時回去台灣後回來的印章).....可是我就真的是 06 年5 月份拿的, 去年連永久回頭簽都拿了, 我只是拿了後第二年才出入境, 就這樣子, 這個 semester 我就不能拿 student allowance 嗎?

我真的一定要等到 9 月才能拿嗎? 這太不合理了吧......

請問各位有這一方面經驗的人為我解答. 謝謝各位.

你9月拿到也没关系啊反正一次过给你好多好多钱。。。。

i think that matters...as they pay you a lump sum because of their internal delays...@_@ usually at year beginning, too many applications piling up.

for LZ i think if you choose first option, then you wont get a lump sum payment as you are using the 2007 Sep permit, then you are only eligible for sep onwards.. you may want to go to Internal Affair Department, having a chat with them in person(also brings any documents that can prove your circumstances), rather than via emails. GOOD LUCK LZ!!

What is Internal Affair Department? Do you know the phone number or the address ?

Goggle "New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs" which only deals with NZ PR or Citizen issues
I remember its in AA building AKL CBD =D
