Important Message from the Head of Department
To all PXXXX 2XX students,
In this morning's PXXXX 2XX lecture, the lecturer JW made astatementthat implied that he would be getting a bonus based on thenumber ofstudents he failed.
I can assure you that this comment was meant as a joke and that TheUniversity of Auckland would never contemplate such a clause in anyemployment contract.
J has substantial experience in teaching and is highly regarded byhisstudents, he is known for his fairness and sense of humour. Hiscoursesare internally and externally assessed and his pass ratesarecomparable with others in the Business School.
Students who have any concerns should feel free to come and discuss them with me.
