I received an E-mail today, said that:

"We have identified some issues of possible concern in regards to the health information provided on your medical certificate.
Your certificate has been referred to the Medical Assessor."
What should I do then? Will they refuse to give me a work permit?

My medical certificate showed that I have slightly lower level of haemoglobin and slightly higher level of alkaline transferase~ Causes for those abnormalities are quite mutiple~

你是在申请签证，移民什么的吗？？

我记得我申请PR的时候好像也收到类似的一封信，说我的什么什么blood cell slightly higher than normal,.....不过后来我什么事都没做就没事了。

去问一下吧，很有可能什么事都没有。

I am applying for a work permit, and is in quite urgent need.... Do you know how long will it take to have my permit granted? So nervous....

没有关系，你现在什么都不需要做的。你的体检报告已经发到Wellington 移民局的Medical Advisor那里了，他们会对你的体检报告作出评估，如果他们觉得这个报告没有Serious concern那么就会回复给你的Case Officer批准你的签证。如果他们觉得你的身体存在潜在问题，他们会建议你去再体检一次然后看专科医生得到更详细的讯息来决定是否批准你的签证。总之你现在要作的事情就是等，然后注意休息和饮食还有锻炼，争取将各项数据恢复正常。还有，你的体检GP应该会告诉你你的这些指标不对，应该怎么做的，去问问你体检的GP

现在真的是nothing much we can do......

你可以向移民局不断的打电话去催，解释你的情况，不过他们也是走过程，估计帮助不大。

催谁都没有必要催Case officer.因为人家一句“out of my control”你就欲哭无泪了

In this case, will your potential employer hire you? I mean will they wait for you to get the permit?

这种情况下还能申请工作么.....如果有人想雇你的话,会不会因为工签还在processing而拒你啊。。。。

除非他们真的很想雇你。。。。

觉得最好不要在CV里提你的签证问题，然后争取面试通过，通过以后再说你的签证有点小插曲。（不过到时也应该已经下来了吧）。。。

问题不是人家雇佣你的问题，现在问题是体检不过就拿不到签证，没有签证根本不能工作。所以你要联系你的GP看看有没有办法恢复你的健康
