COURSE OUTLINE
The aim of this qualification is to respond to the following
Ø MYOB Accounting software is used in about 80% of New Zealand businesses
Ø MYOB Accounting software is becoming widely used internationally
Ø Many jobs are available for people trained in MYOB - there is a national shortage, and
the Diploma will provide a good pathway for Residency
There are 2 papers in the Certificate course, and an additional 4 papers in the Diploma course.
Certificate in MYOB Accounting Software
(3 months - Level 4)
Bookkeeping & Basic Accounting (No previous knowledge required)
Payroll ( Most popular MYOB module, plus legal aspects of Salaries & Wages)
ENTRY: Good Year 12 results or equivalent OR aged 20 AND IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
Diploma in MYOB Accounting Software
(1 year - Level 5)
Certificate as above plus
Advanced Accounting (building on the knowledge gained in the Certificate)
Advanced Payroll (includes other MYOB modules such as Commac Payroll)
Retail Systems (includes Point of Sale, Inventory Control, Customer Management)
Accountants Office (how an Accountants Office works with different types of businesses)
ENTRY: Certificate (above) AND IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
