无语了！俺们老师上课的时候玩笑开大，引起大家不满，需要俺们系的头头来澄清。。

Important Message from the Head of Department
To all PROPERTY 271 students,



In this morning's PROPERTY 271 lecture, the lecturer John Waymouth made a statement that implied that he would be getting a bonus based on the number of students he failed.



I can assure you that this comment was meant as a joke and that The University of Auckland would never contemplate such a clause in any employment contract.  



John has substantial experience in teaching and is highly regarded by his students, he is known for his fairness and sense of humour. His courses are internally and externally assessed and his pass rates are comparable with others in the Business School.



Students who have any concerns should feel free to come and discuss them with me.

感觉这个老师这么说还是很认真的，起码比那些上完课就走的老师强。人家还是很关心同学上课学习的积极性的。
