這是compulsory obligation，不能不去，除非有very strong excuse，否則需要承擔法律後果。

用语言做理由比较好, 因为我个人觉得如果无法完全听懂辩论和法官的指示的情况下对陪审过程本身就是一种不公正.

话又说回来, 被抽到不等于被选中, 很有可能控辩双方的律师不会挑选你的.
